Looking to learn a little about sailing and have some fun on the water? Our Introduction to Sailing courses are a great way to spend a few hours on the water with an instructor and see what sailing is all about. Enjoy 3 hours of sailing on Lake Ontario aboard one of our beautifully appointed Hunter 31s and learn a few basics to get started on your path to sailing.Weekend & Evening Courses available. $195.00 (+HST)
Sail Canada Start Keelboat Sailing
The Sail Canada Start Keelboat Sailing course is the perfect introduction to sailing for those with little or no previous on-water experience. This entry-level course focuses on building confidence, safety, and fundamental sailing skills while participating as crew aboard a keelboat in a relaxed, supportive environment.Over 14 hours of instruction, students will learn the basics of keelboat sailing aboard our Hunter 31 keelboats—stable, comfortable boats that are ideal for learning. Instruction is primarily hands-on and on the water, with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and safe boat handling in moderate daytime conditions.

Ready to get started on your sailing adventure? Jump in with both feet with our Basic Keelboat Cruising Course. No experience necessary. Receive practical and theoretical training for an internationally recognized certification. Learn the skills to sail a keelboat safely and efficiently in this hands-on course. Twenty-eight hours of training with a Sail Canada certified instructor on a 31 foot keelboat. Multiple course formats to suit your schedule. $989.00
